SVEN ~ Writing Goal Reached

There is one day left of SVEN and I have reached my word goal. I have written 56,157 words for the 70 days of writing time. YAYAYA. Of course as I’ve said before I didn’t get the editing done I was hoping to do. Never mind I have July for editing.

For the next round of SVEN if they have it during October, November & December like last year I’m going to use October to finish up my research for my historical romance I’m going to write for NaNo. December I’ll use to either finish the novel (because I think historical are normally about 75,000+ words) or I’ll use it for editing.

‘If I Were A Rich Man’ is coasting along nicely. Everyone is still playing their parts, no one is running off on tangents doing whatever they please. Which is a relief, it is a joy to sit down at mycomputer to write at the moment. Maybe I’m getting the hang of controlling my characters. Well to a certain degree any way.  

Word coount for CataU is 17,197 at the moment. I wrote another 1,367 this morning and 1,500 yesterday. I still think it is going to go over the 25,000 I’m just not sure by how much yet.

 

Right now I’m going to go and do some housework, then this evening I think I’ll do some editing or maybe some more on Rich Man. I’ll see which yells at me the loudest. Hope your writing is going well and the Word Fairy is being nice to you.
