25,000 And Still Going

I’ve reached the 25,000 mark for CataU, but I’m a long way off having the novella finished (well I think it will be a novel now). I know I have hole in parts that will need fixing up in July (that being my edit month). If I want to have this one finished by the end of the month I have to write almost 3,500 words a day. Jezz, that’s a big ask. I mean I’m happy to push myself to do it, but I don’t want to write just for the sack of the numbers. (Does that make sense?)

Anyway I have hubby home with me today, so not getting as much done as I would have liked. Sunday I’m off to a horse show to take photos. It the first show for a couple of our boys. Tomorrow hubby is home and friends are coming up to help prepare the horses for Sunday. Siiighhhhh. I think I’m going to be pushing it to get finished by June. Of course it could all be finished by 30,000 or 40,000 words yet. Who knows? Is it than still a novella or a novel? I could make up a whole new line and call it a novette, Hehehe.

Anyway my heroine has just realised she is in love with the hero but has decided to go home and ignore her feelings. She believes if she puts him out of her mind and just gets on with her life all will be well again. Silly girl.

My hero? Well I don’t know how he feels at the moment because I haven’t gotten up to him yet.

Okay, better get back to it; this thing isn’t going to write itself.

Hugs

Sandie
