As One Challenge Ends, Another Begins!

So CataU’s ‘Novella In A Month’ has finished. My final word count 27,218 and still going. I have to say I was pleased with this challenge, the word flowed easily and the characters keep me interested. Which is just as well because I still have a lot of writing to do before I finish this story. I’d like to thank everyone involved with this challenge, they all do a wonderful job.

It seems like I have been preparing for this challenge forever. Maybe it’s because I have a more active roll. Anyway at last it is here. Day one had it’s ups and downs, but in the end I was able to write 6,096 words. I’m happy with what I achieved and I have a good start to my challenge. Tomorrow is the start of a new day bringing with new twists and turns, question and very few answers. So what will my characters have in store for me tomorrow? Which characters will come out to play? And the thirty million dollar question, will they play nice?

The ladies worked hard on their writing today with quite a few surprising themselves I think. If you’d like to see how we are all faring go to http://writeinjune.blogspot.coma few of the word meters have been updated and personally I think we are all looking pretty damn good.

Hugs

Sandie

Sandie. Your on fire girl. Thanks for the words of encouragement you left on my blog. I was proud of what I managed today, hoping tomorrow is as good. Thanks for updating my word count, it’s a great feeling to see my name and number up there with all the others, those word sprints are the key . You’re an inspiration, I’ll be keeping a close eye on you. Every little bit of motivation will be a help when the words won’t come. Well done, hope you continue to pull off impressive numbers.

Wow – your word count is impressive! Now… I need to stop surfing and get some sleep so I can make the most of my boyfree morning tomorrow!
