Script Frenzy Challenge
I really have no idea why I would do something this stupid, other than to say a moment of madness over took me. Yes, I’ve done it again! I’ve signed up for another challenge. Last year when I did the Script Frenzy challenge wrote 100 pages of a novel, then forgot to post it to the site to say I’d finished. Duh!!!
This year I’ve decided to have a go at writing a screenplay. Yep, I don’t know how to write a script, but then there was a time I didn’t know how to write a novel either. So what harm can it do? None that I can see other than eat into my editing time. Do yo think I’m trying to avoid editing? No, don’t answer that.
So here is my idea for the script. A young girl who lives in the country with her over protective parents and three older brothers decides to find a job in the city. She turns to a family friend and long time crush for help. He agrees to help her out as long as she will help him find a wife. He has a week to come up with the perfect wife or he loses control of the family business. It then goes on to show her looking for his true love while hiding her own feelings about him. He soon realizes that love may have been sitting outside his door and he didn’t even know it. I’m calling it His for Her. So what do you think? Do you think I can write a comedy screenplay? LOL.
Challenge takes place in April, I’ll keep you posted.
Sandie
Oh, Sandie, this challenge sounds soooo cool!
I did scriptwriting at uni, and loved it. I’ve dreamt of writing a rom com script, and hope to do it one day.
Next year, I promise, I’ll sign up with you for this challenge. Or better yet, maybe we can collaborate?! Lol.
Good luck
