Challenge Up-date

The Script Frenzy challenge is going very slow. I’m at least 30 pages behind where I should be at this stage, although I’m happy with how the script is coming together. If nothing else I may be able to use it as a plan/plot for a novel, so I’m going to say it is a waste of my time. I’ll have a better idea how I’m going by next weekend.

I did another Kiwi Writer’s challenge this weekend. The challenge was to write 6,000 words over the Easter break, to add a little something extra to the challenge it also had to be set around Easter. I’m happy with the effort, even if another someone is blowing her own trumpet over this one. I’ve decide to let it ride with her, the more I fight it the more she fights on.
Although I do have another problem now, because I started one novella first then changed on the second day. I’m now left with yet another novel started but not going anywhere. So as you can see the collection is still growing.

NaNoEdMowent pretty well, I reached the target with just over 52 hrs, but still have editing to do. With my great brain wave I have I thought I would edit the first three chapters of at least three of my WIPs. Now I did get the three chapters done of two WIPs and one chapter of the third, then I thought I’d concentrate on just one project at a time. Trouble was I kept changing my mind as to which one I wanted to work on first. Now the darn challenge is finished, I’m all sorted. I know which one I working on and sticking with it. Hopefully by June I’ll have ‘Rich Man’ edit ready to submit and all fired up for the 50ks In 30 Days Challenge again this year.
Chat again soon.
