I tend to avoid plainly negative comments and also 'you have to write this way' comments. I know that if I want to continue writing and enjoy it, I have to stay true to myself and my writing. It does not mean everyone needs to like it. However it means you 'bare your soul' for others to judge you...and you have to be strong enough to withstand the wind and not to bend...
